I've seen grown Russian men kissing on the mouth as a greeting more than once, it's usually nothing sexual. French guys prefer the cheek (sometimes sloppy indeed...) and it's one of the few things I don't like when being in France. ^^°
Afaik, a kiss on the mouth as a greeting was common in christian abbeys in the middle ages and later too but probably depending on the position of both.

I might actually benefit from this, hah, since I started playing Shadow Man not so long ago and got stuck. Looking at videos I realized that I had missed so many things that I'd need to restart it all over again and I don't want to do that. Great atmosphere and everything, but easy to get lost or not be able to find your way.
