I've been following these threads for quite a while and quite frankly, there's no voice of reason here. There's a huge amount of selection and confirmation bias that goes in here and people who don't have a meaningful connection get burned on it.

I think it's somewhat ironic that I'm getting a lecture about caution from somebody that's using this particular kangaroo court. It's been a source of disappointment for years that Mr. Gog permits these threads to exist as they're easily gamed and when all is said and done they're harmful to the community. I've seen more than a little bit of defamation in these threads and in some cases even if the assertions are true, they don't warrant treating other forum goers like that.

The post has been deleted but the other day Tauto called someone a "fag nigger cook".

This is a beautiful free open forum, but can we all agree that this piece of shit is only serving the destroy the gene pool and needs to be ignored?

Honestly, I have a lesser problem with actual scammers; for them it's just greed (which I'm ashamed to admit I can relate to). This guy on the other had has added a whole new level of ignorant white supremacy bullshit to the mix and such makes him borderline dangerous, and that's where the line gets crossed.

Ignore is the way to go I think yes, but I will say that I feel it is anyone's right to know what they are being accused of and why, no matter how big a piece of shit he/she is. If Tauto has been accused of scamming people without any proper motivation given, then I think that is wrong. That's reasonable surely?

Unless somebody has provided motivation and I missed it, in which case I would apologize. I don't follow the gifting/trading threads much.

I agree. I have been labeled as scammer by Emachine. When I ask for proof of scamming, I get downrepped.

It's as if anyone with low rep is automatically labeled as scammer.

Its not just this thread, it's all kinds of threads throughout the forum. And your opinion is just your opinion. That's it. It's ironic you calling this a kangaroo court with some of your wild accusations in other threads such as claiming this promo is illegal, how the sale is universally bad and criticizing anyone who has anything positive to say about it...

And let's face it. We know this account is nes. As soon as nes started scamming games with his alt and got caught, he started accusing anyone with significant rep as a scammer. Tauto's account was made at the same time as the first alts, yet if you look back at his post history, first real post in August is in a giveaway accusing someone of being a high-rep scammer, same words as nes. Basically its pretty clear this is one of nes's former alt accounts with a name change...

So, I don't know. Someone makes their first posts in a giveaway thread calling people in it "high-rep" scammers. Does that sound like someone misidentified to you? Or just an ordinary new user?

I've seen some of his posts; not the most pleasant fellow but there is nothing he did that even comes close to scamming.

Only thing I found in the scammer thread is him bringing up amrit's participation in a torrent site (which amrit explained out later).
