stg83: It wasn't the first time either as both of these appear to be alts of advancedhero which I suspected before in this thread and as Ragnarblackmane pointed out in an earlier post.

Getcomposted: The thing is that before we strongly suspected, but now we have proof positive!
I guess that's not so much evidence as an admission.

I appreciate your moderate attitude and your resentment about witch hunts, but there's definitely something fishy here and as we're not at court here this "evidence" will have to do. You can't expect the community to do nothing until a case is watertight, cause this will almost never happen.
Another user deepdig has been caught trying to trade a gifted game by the gifter Christoph89 with the post then edited by deepdig to remove the game from the trade list and then added to his account on Steam to try and cover it up.

After looking through deepdig's correct Steam profile as highlighted by Stooner:

http://steamcommunity.com/id/MasterChief1772/

I made another startling discovery that deepdig is infact another alt of the infamous scammer The_maestro27 which a few months back took a lot of games from many folks on the old Classifieds thread and was really proud of it. alloy627 found his steam profile back then which confirms it is the same person as can be determined from the over a dozen aliases he has used in the past including Maestro_. As can be observed in the attached screenshot.

Long story short avoid any interaction with user deepdig at all costs since he has a history of exploiting other members here on GOG.

Now I'm wondering if ceterum/ pokeharvest and deepdig are related...

There's more than one lowlife on our precious little world ;)

madth3: Trying to recapitulate for future readers:

advancedhero and ceterum asked for the same games as recounted by sgt83 and their behaviour pointed to being accounts for the same individual. That seemed confirmed by one [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/baroque_thread/post6]following a conversation from the other.

Also, advancedhero has traded with gifted copies as noticed by RWarehall and even creating a mysterious giveaway that a new user won and did not even thanked for.

Afterwards, it was confirmed that pokeharvest was trading with gifted games and it was also confirmed to be another account of ceterum.

Missed anything important?
You missed the time he made up a giveaway to pretend to be a gifter. The winner was a new account remarkably...
And the time he pretended to get scammed by a new account. This was just after Wakalo stole from a bunch of people and the GoG community made it up to them. He was evidently hoping to get gifted games for his loss...

The one I mentioned in the second paragraph?

Mmm...
I, for one, really like reading this thread. I want to know who is being shady. If someone is looking into a account there is a reason and I feel that community should be notified. And if someone does not really care then they can easily pass over this thread.
I know from reading this thread others do not agree and feel it is a witch hunt. My stance is that if there is nothing to find then there would be nothing to report. Also the more users that know about some shady stuff can keep an extra eye out just to make sure things are on the up and up.
I guess my point is, thank you for keeping us informed.

I'm still proud of myself for noticing that, maybe watching all those episodes of BBC detective shows and The Wire paid off, neh? ;)

Of course I can. There's a long history of community enforcement leading to miscarriages and other problems. It's already happening here where new people are treated with suspicion and distrust.

=) Yep it sure has.
Good job all investigators.
Hope, that deepdig use Czech Republic just for cover his own real nationality. If not, I'm ashamed by behaving of other Czechs. :/

Well, I'm feeling quite slick.

I have no idea of what the hell this game is, or if it is any good or not, but I just scammed "Realms of the Haunting" from Gog for only $2.39!

I'm sure you could easily repeat this feat, but in case you don't feel like trying, here is the code:

Have fun.

Edit to remove code.

Not redeemed, as I already have the game and too many games for that matter, but +1 and thank you for your generosity, Dischord!
