Well, your only "mistake" it's that you are an valuable member to this community. Don't take this personal, as anyone with bad intentions can copy your profile. That does not make it your fault in any way.

I can only blame myself for trading here. The forum it's not intended for this activity, it's design makes those kind of scams kinda easy to pull off, as you don't get info about the account in your chat and you can't check that account activity. Again, not GoG's fault and i don't think that they should do anything about it. There is a reason for why we have sites designed for these kind of trades, that can act as an 3rd party in transaction.

Okay, so I just got scammed by savage555. Sent him 4 Steam keys and he sent me a fake GOG key.
If anyone wants screenshots of my conversation with him, just ask.
But guys, beware of this scammer and don't be a major idiot like me.

If you were a major idiot you'd be the only one who got nailed. These assholes are good at what they do. Best you can do is alert others and for that the forum thanks you.
