stg83: Yeah I know, but I just meant in the sense that a lot of people weren't aware that justaquickie was a known scammer here which he took advantage of as well. I think new folks should read the OP in the trade thread before commencing trading on the forum to avoid being scammed by a user with the arbitrary higher rep number.
I suggested taking him into the list since he tried scamming me for a lot of titles some time ago, but for some reason he didn't end in there.

Yeah, that is why I have asked the OP to put up this link with a list that madth3 compiled which is very well done and makes it easier to see the evidence of scamming.

I'm really sorry that it happened to you. That bastard is just a lowlife scumbag loser (and high chances that is also a nobody in real life, his personality shows clear traces that this is the only taste of power he can have, so that's why he abuses his online anonymity doing scams) who has got too many luck with his hoaxes for far too long (over 2 years now), thanks to the misinformation and carelessness of many and the no help from the GOG system administrators, who have the tools to know who he really is and from where he is logging in, but have done nothing to prevent this. They don't even close accounts for confirmed scammers, which would have prevented this very issue. They only use the lazy answer "scammers can create more accounts", but obviously they can do more than that thanks to the unused logs in their servers.

If the traded games are from GOG, at least you can ask to support to void/null those games if you explain with proofs (chat logs/screenshots) what happened. And if they are from Indie Gala, you can know from your account who on Steam has them now. Anything that could help to identify the culprit can be of use to report him/her on Steam.

I do feel the GOG.com staff can do more, "scammers can create more accounts" really isn't acceptable in my opinion.

Unfortunately the games were gift links on Humble Bundle and there is no way I can find on the Humble Bundle website to see the user id of the scammer who claimed the links, I have contacted the Humble Bundle support team and I'm hoping that they can help retrieve the keys back from the scammer.

Actually, they can do that. With proofs of the scam (chat logs, links to this thread and posts) they can do that (they have done it in the past... at least, I have read that they did). With luck, maybe they can tell you too who has them now on Steam, but for privacy reasons, probably they won't tell you. But maybe with a good explanation, they can be convinced with the reason to report this person to Steam.

I've heard good things about the Humble support team, I'll give them as much proof as I can, I'm hoping with the support of Humble the scammer will be reported to Steam.

If I can help it I'm not going to let this issue drop.

I read it completely and I liked it. It's well written, straight to the point and clear. Honestly, I don't know what else to add, since too much words tend to bore the readers. I would add what is only necessary, if there's something else to add.
