I can pre-order the console version of Trine 4, but there's no sign of it over here.

What gives? Does anyone have any information about the absence?

Frozenbyte wants to bring Trine 4 on as many platforms as possible. That's first clue it's coming to GOG & Humble.

It seems they are taking pre-orders for PC on the Trine 4 website, but it lists it rather nebulously as "PC" and nothing more.

That one is for the PC "physical" (which will obviously carry a steam key).

Considering how many games come out on Steam alone and then eventually make it here weeks or even months later, with no word ahead of time, the answer is... we won't really know until it pops up.
