nightcraw1er.488: There is no debate, there is only arguments from your point. DRM stands for digital rights management. How you interpret that, or gog interprets that, or anyone is really anyone’s guess. There are some areas where most would agree, securom, denuvo, CEG etc. But after that it starts to grey. From my side gwent is designed from the ground up as drm, anything which is online only has no rights from the user. I am very hardline on this, clients, cloud saves, streaming, in fact anything which requires control outside I put under (and read this very carefully before complaining folks) the same umbrella as drm. I am not saying they are drm, just that they can be used as such and involve third party control.
Others do not hold these lines, and in fact are far softer on what they think. As you can see through the thousands of forum posts on this kind of topic, it will simply descend into factionalised arguments.
You are right there is probely quite few already existing forum posts about this topic already. But its never bad to have refreshing new updated topic of that disscution even though the results are the same.
