Backers will get their DRM-Free version through Humble.
Keep in mind, though, that -as far as I know- tomorrow release is for episode1. It's already niche enough as it is -and GOG now mostly focuses on indie games with publishers- and given that it's the first episode...
The only episodic games here are from known brands (they basically think it's a given the games will be finished) and the critic darling Kentucky Route Zero.
There are several praised adventures rejected at the time for their episodic nature (hopefully they'll release The Journey Down after the last episode is out on September 21st. I'm still waiting for The Dream Machine. But expecting Bertram Fiddle or The Lion's Song on GOG at this point in time would we wishful thinking on my part).
yogsloth: Voted. It looks really, really cool.
But, of course, it's not a pixellated "retro" platformer with procedurally generated levels and perma-death, so it's never gonna make it here.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised and happy that we got Rain World here. And on release day at that.
I still like my indie platformers. Not really a fan of procedurally generated levels and perma-death, but sometimes it works. And I appreciate both pixelated and non-pixelated alike if I like the art direction.
Just wanted to put this here so that some readers understand that not everyone hates pixel art or platformers in this forums, in spite of the huge effort of a few regulars like you.
