“After World War 1 farmers found a plethora of unexploded ordnance, barbed wire, weapons,
shrapnel and bullets while ploughing their fields. They called it the Iron Harvest.”

Iron Harvest is an old-school real-time strategy game for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, set
in the alternate reality of 1920+.

It features big stomping war machines and looks amazing.

https://iron-harvest.com/

Two reasons I excited over this game

1) They will release here
2) It has a co-op option for the main campaign

The Kick Starter for this Starts Tuesday, March 13th, 11 o’clock CET

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kingartgames/iron-harvest

Any questions/Thoughts, I've got a direct like to the devs and I can put it to them.

Right now I've offered to drum up interest where I can.

Complete with the Woodrow Wilson DLC?

Done by KingArt which is already here:

I thought the game was already far into development and they would have not launched a KS.
I'll see about backing, I trust King Art but well, moniez are a rare commodity nowdays.
I hoped it would turn up one day like a "regular" game.
After a few disastrous experiences with the platform, I'm weary of kickstarters... yet, this particular dev deserves all the support it can get.

Here's what's the press pack says.

Why Kickstarter and what do you do with the money?
 There is a Kickstarter campaign for Iron Harvest from March 13 th to April 13 th .
 We already did three successful Kickstarter games in the past and each time has been a very
positive experience for us. We like to work with our community and get as much feedback as
early as possible to make the RTS that fans actually want.
 Up to this point we paid for the Iron Harvest development with money we made with our
previous games. We could’ve signed with a publisher but we think the longer we keep the
game between us and our community, the better the final result will be.
 As a backer, people not only get the game cheaper, they can also get special editions of the
game that won’t be available later.
 Depending on their pledge, backers get Alpha and Beta versions of the game, starting in just
a couple of months (this summer).
 As with our previous Kickstarter games we’ll make sure our backers always get the best
deals. They enable us to make the game we want to make, so they always come first.
I really don't like this mentality: "As a backer, people not only get the game cheaper, they can also get special editions of the game that won’t be available later." probably the full version with everything will end up costing a zillion dollars.

But I will still take a look at the prices and what they will offer...
I don't fund or partake in kickstarters but this game looks quite promising. Even if launching here on GOG is always nice, there's no Linux or Mac support listed on their website, that's a bit of a setback for me.
So it's Mechwarrior but in the 1920s, got it.

I certainly hope the Battlemech licencing company doesn't have problems with the designs, they've been known as a testy lot.

Linux and Mac support might come later. The devs pointed out previous titles were ported, but this is a more complex game so they can not make any promises.

As for kick stater, I backed a few
Fidget cube, War for the Overworld both turned out great.

I'm backing battletech and the ghost and ghouls game with the girl whose title escapes me right now.

I think this game will get released with or without a successful kickstarter, its just less likely to come here if the wrong publisher gets involved.

I've not seen anything remotely like existing IP, but we all know that does matter.

You can buy the Artbook ;)
Though the game is also great if you like area-control.
