mrkgnao: Will a significant number of customers buy less games here as a result of the low quality of the box art (or of the website in general)? I don't think so and I don't think GOG thinks so. Hence, why should they care?
Why should they care? Pride of service.
In a professonal service like GOG, presentation matters, but stuff like the Larry's are a genuine annoyance... we have have multiple games in that series that have two versions, both of which have identical boxes. On top of looking plain lazy (And making GOG look lazy) A shelf should be quick and clear to navigate and this unbundling has made a total mess of that.
IAmSinistar: But you're overlooking the awesome job they've done on unbundled titles like The Great Battles. These just drip history.
Oh man, those covers are just so descriptive and diverse, the excitement just leaps off the shelf. I totally didn't need to squint to read the full titles either.
