I don't know who did it, but thank you. A few days ago I submitted a support request to get cloud saves added to the GOG version of Dying Light. Today, a support guy answered me telling that he would pass my request to the tech team, but that he could not tell me if/when the cloud saves would be implemented.
Right now, cloud saves have been added to Dying Light.
I'm simply speechless, but honestly this is why I prefer GOG: the human approach. You care about your customers. I play on two different PCs (desktop and laptop) and this feature is really welcomed in every game that supports it, so thank you GOG. Thank you very much.
That's it, just wanting to let everyone know that GOG is a really good guy.

Actually, she's a woman. A bit like countries, and naval vessels...

And navel vessels, as I almost mistyped.

Who else would be answering if not a human?

To be honest, on Steam, just to make an example, the replies you get from support always look like auto-generated bulls**t. I mean, go try and make a request like this on there, I bet they wouldn't even consider it.
Finally a positive comment about gog!

LOL! I must admit it warms my heart to read the occassional praise. ;)

I was just checking out the current sale on Dying Light, so this news of yours is quite cool. Thx for sharing.

Reported for False Advertising, TC not speechless as claimed.
Just as I thought, GOG is awesome!
Nice to see some positive feedback for a change:)

Maybe he was speechless, that's why he resorted to writing?

Anyway that's good news. Thanks Desmight for helping to make it happen. And thank you to GOG too

Maybe they're not speechless at all and used dictation software rather than typing the post?

You're welcome :) It's a great game if you like parkour and zombies (and even if you don't), you would not regret the purchase
Sure would have been a nice feature to have for this game over a year ago when my SDD died about a month after my latest backup taking with it the complete playthrough for the add-on. I still have not mustered the will to go back and drive hours upon hours over biters to maximize again my driving skill.

Although as long as the Galaxy client doesn't allow us to separately set which of the supported games we would wish to enable the cloud saves for, I would have kept it off as I only need it for games I am currently playing and do not wish to worry about not noticing if some glitch on the cloud overwrites years old saves on my computer and then me copying those over my previous backups.

You can! It's opt-out. Go to the game page in Galaxy -> More -> Settings -> Check/Uncheck Sync Local Saves with GOG Galaxy Cloud
Note: the game must be installed to do this.

I can imagine that cloud saves are quite handy. So far, I only played one game on one computer only, but I can imagine if I would need to switch playing the same game on different devices that cloud saves could really come in handy. I want to thank GOG too.

Just a minor nitpicking. Statistically speaking a single example is not worth too much. It could still be that they do not care very much about their customers and do not support other games on a comparable level. Not saying they do that, but that giving a single good example statistically doesn't say much either way.
