I don't know if Macs have some kind of search function, but you should probably look for a file called exult.cfg. Open that file with a text editor and change the values in the <path> </path> entries to the paths of the two games.
Perhaps this helps:

http://exult.sourceforge.net/docs.php#path_config_osx
It seems helpfull.. but I cant seem to find the Config folder i need to alter, i went into the exult file, made it show me the package contents for exult, but i dont see any text file that says config.

"You do not need to edit exult.cfg, which is saved to /Users/Dominus/Library/Preferences/exult.cfg. "

I guess Dominus will be replaced by your username.

It mentions starting Exult, than exiting it imediatly than finding and editing the config file to have the correct paths.
Your saying the config folder automatically goes to this /users/doninus location and that its called Exult.cfg and not called config?

I just checked, under users there is no file called Library

I just searched my entire computer, there is not a single file on this entire thing called Library.

PS I never liked that MacOS Layer which is put above the file system.

The Finder is the same as the explorer on Windows system. The difference is that the menu is on Mac systems the top bar. There you'll see Finder, long time I used a Mac, click on it and a drop down menu will open. I guess that is what is meant.

You mean the Exult.cfg? Nevermind.

Ah ok, you have to open it with a text editor.

Hmm wait, before editing. Now it gets tough.

There you go:

11.10. Using the version for OS X from GOG.com

Since January 2013 GOG also offers a download for Mac OS X. It's a disk image (dmg) that you can open in Mac OS X' Finder by doubleclicking it. You will only see one application named "Ultima 7 The Complete Edition". When you start that application you can play both games through a modified version of DOSBox for Mac OS X. If you want to make Exult automatically find the games from this download, you will need to copy the game files from this application to your hard drive. To do this follow the next few steps.

Open Terminal.app found in the Utilitiess subfolder of your Applications folder and enter the following commands:
sudo mkdir -p "/Library/Application Support/Exult/blackgate"
sudo mkdir -p "/Library/Application Support/Exult/serpentisle"
sudo cp -p -R "/Volumes/Ultima 7/Ultima 7 The Complete Edition.app/Contents/Resources/Ultima 7 The Complete Edition.boxer/C.harddisk/U7/ultima7/STATIC" "/Library/Application Support/Exult/blackgate"
sudo cp -p -R "/Volumes/Ultima 7/Ultima 7 The Complete Edition.app/Contents/Resources/Ultima 7 The Complete Edition.boxer/C.harddisk/U7/serpent/STATIC" "/Library/Application Support/Exult/serpentisle"
Because we need elevated rights the commands are using sudo and will ask for your password and you will need to do this with an administrator account. If you don't have that, please ask your administrator to do this for you.
Sometimes GOG changes the disk image and thus the path may have changed. If you get a "file not found" error, try downloading the newest disk image and mounting that. If it still doesn't work visit our forum and tell us.

Ok!! almost there! what exactly do I do with it? I need step by step what I change here, I know I have to alter paths and such but I am not sure what that entails, this is a completely new form of modification to me, and this should work for anytime exult needs to access this file?

I answered in the post above and yes the OSX layer on top of the file system is a pain in the ass, when you want to do something that is not in the confines provided by the layer.
After having a closer look at Exult, I'm really not sure whether it's worth the hassle of setting it up.
The graphics are essentially the same as the original DOS version, only with the 2xsai filter enable by default, which, among several others, is also available in DOSbox (see attached pictures). I suppose the sound emulation is nicer, but not by much.
I also seem to have way more technical issues with it than with DOSbox. Particularly the fullscreen option causes several problems, though that may be related to an incompatibility with my graphics card's drivers.

I know.. I just kinda want the sound stuff really bad, its just how I wanna play the game I guess.

Also it doesnt let me type a password, all i can do is press enter which is apparently incorect...
