Indeed. Using the script one last time seems to have finally banished the violet phantom. May the future generations never have to experience living under its tyranny.

The problem with the "clear all notifications" - button is this: it's not ALWAYS there.

When I read your post three days ago, that button also wasn't there for me.
Today I checked again - and now it is there again.

So my best advice for you would be: check your "my settings" - page regularly.
