Well, now the dot is gone and doesn't even appear when someone replies to me. From one extreme to another. There is no middle ground it seems.

Keep getting this thing over and over, in console it complains about "CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing". I dont speak front-end, so I have no idea what exactly this means, but its so frustrating.

I'm not sure what this error is about since I also don't know anything about front-end, but if it likes what happens to me where some times the script doesn't work, maybe you need to run the script again once the purple dot reappears.
If you're using Firefox and didn't close the browser since the last time you used the script, hit ctrl shift k again, press the up arrow again until you find the script and press enter.
Should work now, but if it doesn't, keep trying until it does. At least that's what I do.

Thanks OP, worked for me. To find the console on Opera right click in browser and select "Inspect Element" and then click on Console in the field that opens up.

I used to be able to use this fix (since GOG apparently don't want to fix it) but recently in Chrome I can no longer find the "console" section to paste the line into when hitting F12.. For anyone using Chrome: where the heck do I paste it now?
