For some reason I don't have the purple mark anymore, but I didn't do anything. So it looks like it resolved itself.

Damn it! :D Now that you replied to me, it's back, and this time it doesn't go away when I displayed the thread! :D Why?!

Just reload the whole page or go to main page after you used the command in the console.

adaliabooks: ...go into your browser's console (usually you can open it by pressing F12) ...
Dude. I've never tried that before. It shows that my blockers are working for GOG. Thanks.

I have a bookmark created on my link bar. Here's what you need to put in the URL of that bookmark:

frogthroat: If you do not want to press F12, go to console and paste the code every time there, you can make a bookmark on your bookmark bar. Name it whatever you want and for the URL, type this:

javascript:(function(){angular.element(document.body).injector().get('menuNotificationsRepository ').deleteA llNotifications();})();

If this happens again, you can just click the bookmark on your bookmark bar.
The command is pretty much useless for me. Would have to put it in like every 5 minutes to get rid of the dot. At this point, I've embraced it and become one with it. Praise the dot, accept it into your heart and you will be enlightened. Stop resisting. Glory to the dot.... ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

I actually didn't use any commands, and since the dot comes back all the time, I don't really see a reason to do it.
Gog staff should learn how to code.

So if you haven´t used the command from the first post if this thread, why are you surprised it´s still there? O.o

It should be coming back when somebody replies to your post, problem is not disabling itself after doing so - hence the command.

I had it constantly for months, and then suddenly it disappeared.

The same happened with me once about 2 months ago. Probably a glitch, so don't worry and enjoy the Purple Gem of goodness ;)

Ummm.... the dot disappeared after I read a reply today? Can someone quote me, just in case something changed?
