The play was implemented three weeks earlier while watching tapes on the Vikings. They saw New Orleans run it to perfection against the. BUT when game time came they realized, having fallen for t before, the Viking were likely to sniff it out, so they pulled it out of the game plan and saved it for the Super Bowl.

I mentioned before, Kurt Warner used to run a similar play with the "Greatest Show on Turf" where he made like he was changing the play call. He'd run up to the line screaming at which point the center would hike it to Faulk who was usually in the end zone before the defense knew what happened.
