As much as I hate to admit it, that's true. Joe Montana said of "Deflate Gate", QBs always mess with the ball. Brady was just stupid enough to get caught.

Of course, to think he won seven Super Bowls because he took air out of the ball is ludicrous. :P

Exactly. He's just a really damn good player and field leader, and the team has some magic combination that consistently works better than the rest of the teams.

I have not been an eggball fan for some years now (I mostly just watch basketball and wrestling), but I will be cheering for Philly. Not because I like them but because I can't stand the Patriots.

I'm sorry if you already knew the answer, but in case you didn't notice, sarcasm isn't exactly obvious in a forum post. Not to mention lots of people don't know Roman numerals anymore.

Edit: And btw, "capitaine évident" may be the literal translation of "captain obvious", but it doesn't actually mean anything in French.
