So bad it is ps only atm :(
Yeah, I am not a fan of exclusives.
It's the only way to bring peoples to console
Let's hope it goes the way of Horizon Zero Dawn. :)
I'm so out of touch with consoles that I thought this one was a psychological horror game. Just this past weekend I was thinking about possible historical settings for open-world games and of course Japan was one of them. I looked up some videos and looks good. Hopefully it will come to PC one day, and doubly hopefully, DRM-free.
There's only one game award that matters to me and that's my opinion.
I've seen multiple people cheer about the fact that TLoU 2 didn't get that award. Kinda feels like the same kind of people (but of opposite political stance) who gives Cyberpunk bad reviews because it's percieved as not being trans-inclusive enough.

it wont work on me, ill just wait until pc release or forget the game . If my money is not good enough for them that's their loss not mine.

Sony will be Sony. But if they somehow bring it to PC (and GOG) and it's not a completely shabby port, this might be one of those games I'm willing to pay the full AAA price for, because it would be worth it. The sheer amount of attention to detail the devs managed to pull off in this "let's roll out yet another AAA franchise game as fast as possible" age is amazing.

Not work on me too, but when you hear and read console only gamers, you see that they think we still at the 90's, they don't want to understand that you can plug it on your tv or use controller to play your games if you think objectively, the PC is way better that's why i said exclusive are the only way to bring people to consoles

I agree but it's still a blast joining in on the fun. lol
I don't play console trash, and I also don't give any credence to SJW woke game award ceremonies.
it won the players voice award, it didnt "win the game awards". also it only won because a lot of tlou2 haters rallied together to vote for ghost of tsushima instead. tlou2 was ahead by 8-9% for hours when suddenly ghost overtook it in a very short amount of time (after 4chan and other posts popped up after a neil druckman tweet). so in the end its kind of an empty win for ghost, sucks for the devs

I think most of us don't care about some clearly biased journos opinions.
So for me, if players voted it the best game of the year, it won the best game of the year award.
I don't care about 4chan or twitter mobs.
GoT got :P more votes meaning more people wanted it to win than TLOU2 that's all.
And how is this an empty win? and why does it sucks for the devs?:O I clearly cant see it.
Well, if I had to pick a PS4 exclusive to win the Player's Choice award, i.e. "the very best game of 2020 as voted on by [PlayStation] players", then I'm glad it was Ghost ... because it seems more fun and interesting than any of the other PS4 exclusives released in 2020. Just because TLoU2 was more "artistic" according to western political media, does not make it a more fun or better game than Ghost for the actual players. Did TloU2 get those high votes because the game was good, or because certain people wanted to make a political statement by voting on it. I would find it more absurd if such a divisive title like TLoU2 actually won the thing.
