Game is slowly stabilizing. Updates are regular and large. Besides, devs announced that by the time the uncensored product reaches stores, it is going to contain ALL fixes. 3 months time, is indicative. They are busy and have their hands full.

Somebody whispered to me, since the kickstarter days, that "they" wouldn't allow the devs to release their product "free" (censor free, etc). I was convinced, because i saw that coming, so i resisted funding.

If, however, they finally make it, i am so going to buy it. Provided that it reaches the GOG-store, obviously, of course.

I'm curious, do you have an example of a game that does? I know a lot of games that were great fun, and got a lot of censorship flak, but I wouldn't call them "art" (stuff like GTA:SA because of the Hot Coffee Mod, or Doom, or Mortal Kombat).

Unfortunately for the devs, I don't think that's going to do anything good. As an example, I don't think anyone cares that No Man's Sky might be ok to play now, after all the initial bad press, it just won't ever recover.
Also why I'm usually against games being released in Early Access- it's usually the initial underwhelming product that gets all the press, and few people care by the time it is properly released.

Meh, if it's moddable then that community will fill in the gaps. And maybe turn it into a 3-star game.

Phew, good thing I got over the game or I'd be pretty disappointed. :P

Disappointing for me. I was a few hours in to the game and parked it when thye released the Agony Unrated news so that I could play the unrated version. The whole thing is shame, for both the studio, investors and gamers. I was actually quite enjoying the game, albeit that it does have it's flaws and is frustrating at times. Time to go back and finish now I guess...

For the vast majority of games I've backed, this hasn't been the case.

One more thing: Kickstarter (or similar sites) backers are not investors. They are donors. Very big difference.
I had my fair share of disappointments with that too, but I cannot complain, as I knew what I was signing for. Might No.9 still makes my stomach ache, but that's the price for trust.

I must say, i have been pretty happy with the games i have supported on kickstarter for most part but i wouldn't pledge for any developer who put up their ideas especially some relatively unknown but even then it's no real guarantee that it will be great, overall i like kickstarter and many games that have come out of it but you do have to realize it's a 50/50 situation and there's no shortage of fucked up projects either.

This still sucks for Agony supporters though and now people can hopefully put these devs on the avoid list too.

Good thing i never had an interest in the game seeing as this shit is hardly salvageable, bad all around.
