When I saw the title of this thread, I thought we were under attack from spammers again, but then I noticed the 24 replies.
"Huh?" I thought to myself, "Did someone kidnap a spam thread to hold a meaningless discussion about the vagaries of the world?"
I had to click to find out.
Imagine my disappointment when I found out that the baba was not extolling the virtues of his russian brides or mail-you drugs... ;)

I can try to sell you something, if you really want. However, I don't feel like it right now, so tell you what. For a 5.99$, I'll try to sell you something. For a 9.99$ game, I'll even create a Spam thread for you. How's that?

Luned: Call or write the insurance company in question and request an answer in writing clarifying the clause. Keep a copy of their written response with you at all times while traveling (so you have documentation if there's ever any doubt).
This was the other I was going to suggest. If you have it in writing from someone at their company it's much more difficult to wriggle out of ;)

P1na: So, I've recently hit 30 and I've lost a lot of youth benefits for that. And so, until my retirement benefits in about 35 years (if I'm lucky), I had to search around and reorganize my paperwork. And so, I am now the owner of a fancy golden visa, or however is called. This provides me with health insurance abroad, which is something I can certainly use because, as somebody might have noticed, I travel a lot. Full year worldwide health insurance for 50€ a year, plus the other benefits of that card, is a pretty sweet deal.

That said, the card has a point on terms & conditions that goes something like "coverage is valid for trips of up till 90 days" or something like that. I'm a bit uncertain about that clause, so I asked about in the bank and they couldn't give me a straight answer. Maybe it is that I get coverage for 90 days since I went abroad. Maybe it's 90 days since I got the visa stamp of entry to a country, which generally mean you've got free access through Europe. They rule out the idea that you're not covered if you stay more than 90 days 35km away from your registered address. I apparently don't need to have a return ticket within those 90 days for the coverage to take effect. But it's all the interpretation of people who weren't all that certain about it.

So I thought, why not ask our dear community? With the different backgrounds here, maybe somebody knows some technicalities about it? I can look it up again and translate the exact clause to English the best I can, I have the papers in the backpack, but I might still get it wrong. Anyway, if you know specifics on this, please let me know.

TryToKi55: Dude, you know what I did when I was too lazy to get a special travel insurance? I just purchased taxi insurance from these guys total-insurance.co.uk and am very happy as they provide health insurance, that has no difference with full health insurance that offer other companies :) Dude, it is very profitable, moreover, it is not so difficult to purchase this taxi insurance, moreover, traveling you can even earn extra money on transportation of people )

I was ABOUT to comment about my initial interpretation of the 90 days, then I noticed it was in 2015.

So, new profile(this month), 0 games, 0 rep... and links to some 'insurance' website.

yeah... spam.

At least the username wasn't some RNG jargon and actually seemed like some work was put into it.
Honestly, after how long I've been off the forum, getting a notice for a forum reply was surprising.

Even then, I didn't expect this.
