It doesn't show an expiry date - it just says "not redeemed yet".

This is the situation I have right now. I've got a redemption code for Hard West which I already have in my collection. It expires on January 8th so I need to trade it soon if I can find anyone willing. I'd pretty much be willing to trade it for almost anything I don't already have if anyone is interested. I'd prefer the game be something here on GOG.

That's why you need to manually try to redeem it - my Eador code also shows "not redeemed yet" but after manual try it shows "code expired".

Just to add that it is safe to check and, contrary to steam, it can be done without actually activating the code. You put the code, do the captcha, press continue and then you see if the code is still valid. Then, you press cancel.
