Joe was quite high on the suspect lists of a lot of people so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to waste a possibility of a free lynch like that. There were others which would have fallen under the "minimal information" category a lot better.

For the reason Lift stated - not a whole lot of interactions and minimal information. I don't think Pooka was suspected by as many people as Joe, though (or at least that's my perception - I thought Joe was quite suspected in this game). Also, we kind of eliminated others for various reasons (not necessarily good ones but still - we didn't go straight for Pooka, he was chosen from a filtered pool of options).

Fun fact - Joe killed the Town Roleblocker on N1 last game and was killed as the Town Roleblocker this game on N1.

Lifthrasil's reaction here seems a bit off. This was clearly a reference to dedo's and Joe's budding romance.

Quick scan through D1 of #68 shows me Pooka was mentioned as suspect or was on shortlist for me, nmillar, Joe, catte, GymHenson and bjgamer.
So I would say Joe was viewed better than him. If you chose Pooka there you shouldn't be too surprised by Joe being killed here.

No, I don't. You didn't tell me and I can't read your mind. Especially not in this game. As I observed previously, you are different from other games. More aggressive and less readable.

Joe was on some peoples suspicion list in the first half of the Day, true. Then his prolonged absence hit, which was due to RL. At the end of the Day, nmillar was higher on general suspect lists. Or I. Or Pooka. The only one voting Joe was Micro.

But if, as you say, at the end of Day Joe was so high on the suspect list of 'a lot of people', then please show those suspect lists to me. For me Joe wasn't a main suspect and I don't think that you would have easily managed to get him mislynched today.


Ah, and here is support from one of the actual main suspects. Was it 'clearly a reference to a budding romance'? I don't see such a reference. Please explain dedo's thought to me, nmillar. (yes, that is worded a bit provocative. But you do seem to have more insights into dedo's thoughts than I do)

Sorry, my head isn't really in the game. Perhaps the misunderstandings with dedo come from that. Not from him being scum.

I did say that Joe didn't had the scummy vibe he usually has, even when town. Seems he was a power role (PR). It might be WIFOM but maybe someone from Joe's voters found it misleading enough to NK him? Later I'll look into this.

They've both done similar in the past two games I've participated in, so his opening "shock" post looks to me like he's mourning the loss of his lover? I hasten to add this is not a reference to the mafia role "lover", but the Twilight-esque story that's been developing these past few games.

Well now that we're down 2 town, we need to git gud(der).

To that end, i'd like to point out one thing: two of those I suspect were the only ones not voting at the end of D1.....Catte and Nmillar.

Might be something, might be nothing...but imo it's worth taking note of, so I done did just that.
