So are they force installing Gog Galaxy now? Downloaded another game and GG is now installed. If I wanted it i would have installed it. WTF?
Still having this problem in the latest version of Galaxy on Win 10:

Offline installers come in two flavors now: Galaxy-bundled and classic. The header above the list of installer will say "GOG Galaxy Game Installers" or "Classic Game Installers", respectively. The footnote should also state whether GOG Galaxy is included or not. The Galaxy-bundled installers' filenames end in "(g)".

You can switch between the two versions via "More" -> "Classic Installers"/"GOG Galaxy Installers".

Hope that helps. Sorry for the inconvenience.

What seems to be the problem with Terraria? And why can't you write to support?
because i have some problems to write it i cant even choose Subject ... we want to play with my friend together ive bought it to me and to him too but in game if i host a server he cant join on my ip... so i dont know how we can connect to me to play together :/ on steam u just use Invite player and it works but not on GOG for us... or tell me how we can do it please... i dont wanna waste my money

Are you on the same LAN or not? If you are not on the same LAN, you are giving your WAN IP instead of the LAN one, and do you also have the required ports forwarded on your router?
IP connection does take a bit of setting up, but it should work just fine.
The Terraria Wiki has an article on Setting up a Terraria server.
Yeah i have tried that but my Laptop work on 99% CPU and 90%RAM so its not much good way to make server for me.. i need something to just my friend connect to me.. :/ i saw something like "Connect" that should connect my acc by GOG with Steam but if i do this nothing just happend and write me only. This can take 2 or few days .... so i dont know what to do..
or can we get steam keys by our games ?
or how we can connect our games to steam because thats seems to be the easiest way to play together :/

You can just send an email to support@gog.com as we'll need more details to understand your issue.
No real updates in a while. Has me wondering if a significant bug patch may be coming or if 1.3.0 is getting close to releasing on beta. One can dream, but GOG has taught me not to expect such things.

I certainly hope so as Galaxy uses the hard disk a bit often even at idle according to Win 10 task manager. That needs to be fixed.

sc.andrade: After new update, same problems (gray, unusable client, etc., tried in two different machines). Since nobody cares, here's a workaround: just choose english when installing (I'm portuguese).

Thank you very much, good games.
I can't believe this was the solution...

GOG, please fix this!

GOG, please fix this!
We're aware of the issue, and it will be fixed in next release.
Galaxy API has issues when trying to get download link using the "downlink" url from product details json.

I'll use Jotun Valhalla Edition as an example because I tested this with the official GOG Galaxy client but the issue is wide spread and affects multiple games

Product details json: https://api.gog.com/products/1458127099?expand=downloads,expanded_dlcs,description,screenshots,videos,related_products,changelog

Trying to get the download url by using the provided "downlink" from product details json for the first part of windows installer ( http://api.gog.com/products/1458127099/downlink/installer/en1installer0 ) results in 404 error.

This causes the backup feature of the official GOG Galaxy client to fail due to "server error" and causes issues for lgogdownloader.

This issue was first reported to issue tracker of lgogdownloader: https://github.com/Sude-/lgogdownloader/issues/125

I already reported this to support (ticket ID #141230)
