Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

========================================================================================

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

Can i game while downloading another game on the galaxy ?
See here for an error.

DrakoPensulo: See here for an error.
A recent update to Galaxy uses features unsupported by Vista and older operating systems. Operating systems pre-Windows 7 were not *officially* supported by Galaxy to begin with, so this problem isn't going to be fixed for your system. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Are you guys aware of the issues on The Witcher Adventure Game achievements, more specifically, those on Galaxy but not in game? If they aren't ever going to be added into the game, kindly remove them on Galaxy so we can tell which achievements are actually working and which aren't.

Alabamatick: Well if the Gog downloader hadn't stopped working last year and manual downloads weren't such a pain sometimes, i wouldn't be so p*ssed off about the os support
Except GOG downloader still works... kind of sort of. But for a limited time only. Smoke 'em if ya got 'em folks, this plane's goin' down! :)

Minus a few glitches though, the downloader works fine. It will however cease to work in the extremely near feature from the vibe I am getting from GOG support at the moment though, so anyone who uses it should either be planning to move to Galaxy on a supported platform, or to just use the browser links with or without a browser download addon to juice it up a notch.

The downloader works but it's days are ticking off. Just be quite for a sec...

... hear that folks? It's the sound of GOG downloader links gasping their last dying breaths. Tick... tock... tick... tock... <add reverb here>

Yeah, the proverbial shit will hit the fan when the day comes one would presume, but it's extremely close. The writing is on the wall. I wont get angry about it personally. Disappointed yes, but not angry. I wont stop shopping here, that'd be more harmful to me than to GOG. But honestly, I had hoped that GOG's promise to publish the GOG API for 3rd party downloaders and clients would occur long long before the downloader was eliminated with extreme prejudice. It still works now, but it is crystal clear this blue light special is about to end.

Smoke'm if ya got'em folks. :)

hohiro: Wonder where you got your infos from, GOG Downloader still works flawless. Just tested it and no problem at all.

Edit: For those who don`t believe:
Yes, it does still work, but they're in the process of working towards eliminating it. There are some broken game links that are ultra low priority to fix and if you contact support about them they're making it crystal clear that people should prepare to switch to Galaxy or download via web browser because GOG downloader is going bye bye soon. How soon isn't clear yet (waiting for a reply about that), but it's going to be pretty soon from what I am seeing. Hopefully the community can reverse engineer the protocol and build a simple client that uses Galaxy API to download soon so there's no "off' time.

If not, what will happen I predict, is that they'll shitcan GOG downloader sometime within 1-6 months and remove the links completely and the following will happen (mark my words and bookmark this for future reference):

- a big nasty flamewar will erupt from people pissed off about it (no judgment, rightfully so, they just want convenience that works for their situation)

- it will provide increased motivation for someone to reverse engineer Galaxy protocol as it seems unlikely GOG is going to provide information about it anytime soon (with reasonable technical reasons despite the inconvenience).

- Some people will curse and swear "blah blah blah, I'm not shopping here again F you!"

- Someone will succeed at making a client that can talk Galaxy juju.

- Equilibrium will be re-established

- No Man's Sky will still suck rocks.

- The world will enter a dark age (unrelated to Galaxy, but more to current geopolitical events), in which people will care more about what the future holds than how they download video games.

- GOG will surprise release No One Lives Forever 1&2 and everyone will be happy again.

- We'll all shit bricks of excitement.

Well I think this is partly achievable right now. There is gogrepo.py script, which can download everything, but lacks chunk downloads and resuming. As it is on github, I believe with enough incentive these features would be added pretty quickly. The rest of the Galaxy is different matter but I have faith. It only takes one annoyed guy with slightly better coding kung-fu than mine, and I believe taking down GOG Downloader would annoy quite a few people. And some are bound to have way more skill in coding than me, especially taking into account that I'm only a physicist who just needs to code every now and then, when there are no ready tools to do what I want, not a full-time programmer.

Yeah, it's probably not very difficult to code for once the protocol is reverse engineered other than tracking changes to the API over time.

TomaszGOG: We're very sorry, but unfortunately we've encountered troubles with keeping Windows XP and Vista support for Galaxy and with this release, we must announce that Galaxy will no longer work on these systems. We want to keep moving forward and to offer you guys modern and best solutions available.
Since many games offered on GOG actually run on windows XP/Vista it will be reasonable to have a "legacy" version of the GOG Galaxy. That version may miss more advanced features present in the standard version. That is just an ides..
It would be nice, as I used it for NWN2 & BGEE as my 1st purchases here. However, the gog down loader worked fine for me at least for BG2EE. So if you are like me and using an olderPC that Galaxy does not support, the gog down loader works easy & fine for getting the games on your platform. I'm a bit older and only really about the ability to access & play the older CPRGs of my youth and thus it works fine for my needs. And if i want, I can also use Galaxy on my laptop.

Thanks GOG for providing me access to all these amazing old games (and new ones like PoE)!

Nice. I see you use Galaxy version 1.1.13. Can you share this version with me somehow ? Galaxy from version 1.1.16 does not run on vista (my system) and XP anymore. I suppose newest galaxy also does not run on ReactOS... [The last Galaxy version which runs on Vista/XP is 1.1.15.13]
