Foxhack: Boy oh boy. I can't see anything either.

Then again, 2K are xenophobic bastards who seem to think the only valid currency is Americabucks, so they can go screw themselves.

Kabuto: I don't think it's an american thing. Seems to be a uk region restriction since it doesn't work in canada either. One more reason GMG sucks. They have one global site but advertise region restricted deals. At least steam and D2D have separate sites for different regions so nobody gets teased.
... please don't get me started on D2D. It's the pinnacle of what you're describing. I swear the EU saw only 1 in 10 of the deals the site had ever since December, either that or some watered down alternative.

Impulse surely isn't better either (not that you mentioned it). They even send out emails for sales of games restricted in your region >.<

Delixe: You might want to ask them about it on Twitter.
I don't think I will. I pretty much stopped using their service a while ago anyhow. And most of the 2K stuff I can actually buy from GetGamesGo/GamersGate so I'm not that inclined to give GMG my money. I just find it disappointing that they used to sell games I couldn't get on any other service but have apparently down a complete U-turn.

Except when D2D label games as worldwide, then once, you've ordered it, change their minds. And instead of giving you the product (like Steam would in the same situation) issue a refund instead.

Which is really annoying. Just give people the product they paid for. Don't remove it due to your mistake/change in availability.

Not sure if this qualifies as a "deal" but steam has Soldiers : Heroes of WWII for $5.
www.game.co.uk has Call of Duty: Black Ops for £21.99. If you vote in the British Academy Video Game Awards, you'll be sent a £5 off voucher taking the final price to £16.99!

Yeah, never seen a limit on deactivation before... that's truly terrible. Call me insane but that is worse than Ubisoft's DRM.

Starforce officially reclaims it's cherished spot of offering the worst drm schemes on the planet with that scheme.

Rainblood looks like a really good jRPG, and I think it received some praise from the Codex too. I've never seen it gone on sale before though.

Downfall is also another good title that was on sale during Gamersgate's Xmas sale. Its biggest problem is the typos, but otherwise it is a very good (and morose) adventure game. Look out for it in case it goes on sale again.

A.I.M 1 and 2 are also pretty good, and they're regularly on sale. Think Battlezone meets STALKER. It's rough around the edges, but if you can get past the translation and brutal difficulty, there's a pretty unique experience to be had there.

Same game I'm waiting for, but unlikely to appear on one of the daily promos. May have to pick up the whole pack instead.

Given that UbiDRM allegedly no longer has an always online requirement it seems like we have a hands down winner. Not that Starforce hasn't consistently been a serious contender for the title throughout its existence.

Another thing that retains its title as the outright worst in its field is fucking Impulse. No surprises there though.
Maybe tomorrow! In any case, not interested on Supreme Commander.

Frankly, the best deals werethe first two, haha.
