Pheace: really want Batman but like hell I'll pay 7.50 euro for a 4 activation machine limit >.<
Only £3.49 in the UK ... we always get the good deals on Squeenix titles. :)

2$ and DRM free, worldwide
Batman GOTY is SSA title (normal version don't) so don't worry about activation limit

/ps: i have just noticed you told about Securom, i think 4 activation per month (not lifetime) is enough.

I know about that one but it used to say that specifically on the steam description and now for some reason it doesn't anymore. And a guy on SPUF had an email reply saying it was same as the basic one ... so I don't know what to believe anymore.

Monthly returning activations is good enough for me. Just not 100% convinced it has it at this point :)

wy4786: Does anyone know why it says pre-purchase?

Delixe: Judging from your country origin it might be that the game has not been released on Steam there. This happens a lot especially in Asia with Japanese game publishers like Sqeenix and Sega. Only option to buy a Steam key that registers as retail from a site like Direct2Drive or GetGames.
It's the Squeenix complete pack right? All the games in it are already released. It's either a Valve fuck up, or they simply don't want to sell it to us. But like Mafia 2, are all to happy to take our money regardless.
An actual good sale for once from Shrapnel.

A bundle containing 4 great games.
Air Command 3.0
Brainpipe: A Plunge to Unhumanity
Scallywag: In the lair of Medusa
Space HoRSE.

75% off!

Yea, final fantasy XI is showing up as unavailable.
Ah well. Some of the games actually look pretty enticing for that price

Funny thing is, we get at pre-purchase too but where FF XI is listed as Final Fantasy XI in the US with no price, it's listed here in Japan as Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection with a price of $4.99. Front Mission Evolved is $10 more here than in any other country. And The Last Remnant is missing from the pack, but is available separately at $10 more than any other country.

Naturally, Valve want the same price for pack despite on of the games being excluded. Just another way to rip off their non-NA customers really.

TBH isnt there also some limitation to Steam's system that they can't list two items the same? In this case they have one listing for the Square Complete pack and the games you get depend on the region. I remember when all the conspiracies about Dragon Age Signature Edition were going around the truth was Steam just can't have two listings for Dragon Age 2, one would have to have been deleted.

Many games on Steam are listed twice. They get around it by assigning different App numbers to them depending on the region, and they do the same with this pack. It's App No. 6935 in Japan, 6931 in the US, 6936 in the UK... so it's probably also 6932/3/4 and possible others depending on regions I haven't checked. And each of those listings is a separate listing in their database, so I really don't buy the idea that they can't list two items the same when they pretty much can.
Just Cause and Just Cause 2 heavily discounted in today's Steam Square Enix Eidos daily deal.
JC2 for 7.5 bucks is a goddamn great deal.

It's 6.25€ here. It will be cheaper to buy it via GetGames for $7.49 and for saved money buy myself a beer as a celebration of victory over regional pricing.
UK prices:

Just Cause: £2.00
Just Cause 2: £5.00

Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection is also 50% off: £4.99

Hmm I already own Just Cause 2, wondering if it's really worth getting the first one. does it offer something different than JC2?

I don't speak from experience but everything I've heard points to: no. It's basically the same concept just on an earlier engine, less content, and awkward controls.

And it is not even the best version of JC2 since the PC version is a port of the PS2 version, apparently.
