I'm again advising caution against dealing with Strategy First. Both customer and developer have been ripped off many times by their moneygrubbing ways.

4 bucks for JA Gold, i cant resist this, if i dont tick extend download service, how long can i download my game and what kind of DRM in this site ? appreciated for any advice

Thomas Riegsecker (BasiliskWrangler) says that they're considering republishing a collectors ed of the first game, so you might want to wait for that. I've already finished both games, and have the DVD version of EB2, but I know I'll be picking up Book 1's collectors ed when it's released.

@rcgamer: I have to say though, both games aren't perfect, and skills aren't well-balanced, but nonetheless they're still well worth the money. I clocked in about 20 hours per game. Go for the deal on Gamersgate if you just want the digital version, if not go straight to the developer for the DVD version.
