Yes, ignore that. They never bother updating the description. Just click "get it free", complete the checkout process and the full game is yours (remember to uncheck backup cd).

This was a must have for me at these prices. on D2D Book 1 costs 17 bucks USD with a coupon, on GG it cost 17 for both :) TY for heads up.

They're good. They're a bit like a Rogue Dungeon Crawler but not as brutal yet still more brutal than your typical RPG.

If you like old-school RPGs they are excellent. Well, the second one is, I haven't played the first. Maybe I will get it during this sale, though I would rather buy it direct.

As a collector I would love to get the boxed versions of these games. I know that Book one DVD's are sold out so finding one may be difficult.

Yeah, I'm a collector too and almost bought the DVD version of Book Two. It seems a rather simple package though, and was like $10 more, so I ended up not doing that.

Speaking of which does anyone know the packaging style of the Avernum games?

CD Jackets and manuals, nothing special. I bought the on sale collector's edition sets, so you may get better stuff on the individual games.
