anjohl: Wow, definiely worth trying! A month free gameplay is a month free gameplay, no harm in trying it!
But what if you get hooked??? You'd have to spend a lot of money every month, not to mention that in the second month, you start skipping work, leading to you being fired, which results in even more video gaming, but since you have no more income to pay for your subscription fees, rent, food, etc, you have to resort to selling out your body for a measly $250 a week, just so you can pay for the basic necessities. You can't even clean your house anymore, so it all goes to junk. Give it another 6 or 7 months and your neighbour will come knocking at your door from the pungent odour coming from your house only to discover you in your underwear, head on your keyboard - dead, and the game is still on your computer monitor.

What if that happens, huh?

Dude, no. MMO's are more addictive than other kinds of games, (Especially the fiendishly addictive "Xbox Live" mmo", but come on.

Egotomb: In light of King Arthur game + DLCs being on sale, does anybody have experience with it?

reaver894: Im downloading it now but its taking ages its over 6GB.

As for the THQ sale how long is that on for? Id like to try a dawn of war game but am spent up for the time being.
Not sure, but Dawn of War and the expansion packs are totally worth it. Dawn of War 2 on the other hand.... ehhh....

If you haven't tried Company of Heroes, grab that. It's a better more fleshed out version of DoW.

Agreed with CoH, but DoW2 is a great game in my opinion. It's very different from DoW1, so you can't really compare them equally. While DoW1 is a pretty unique RTS game, DoW2 is more of a tactical game with RPG elements thrown in. Both are good games, it just depends on what you type of gameplay you prefer.

/agree.

Also, I waited until the Xmas sale and snapped up Dow2+expansion for 20 bucks. That was a mega steal, the normal price for both in one box in Aussie is 70-80. Yes, for BOTH IN ONE BOX.

And for some reason I vastly prefer Dow2 to Dow1 - the need to grab and grind for resources in the first one just got repetitive for me. Mehhhh

Still, that's not to say DoW isn't a good game, it's stellar, just way unbalanced.

I'm going to give it another go. It just totally rubbed me the wrong way the first time I played it. I think I hyped myself up to much for it and found it lacking. It's been on my hard drive for a bit now, so I guess I'm talking myself into firing it up again! =)

As above, anyone in the US willing to get me Darksiders from the THQ store? I can PayPal the money or buy something of equivalent value from GOG, Steam, DD, GG, etc.
I got a coupon code in my email today for the EA Store... you get a bundle deal of Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 all for $120. It's buy 2 get 1 free at the full $60 price basically.

Not sure if it is unique or not, but if anyone wants the code let me know. It's useless to me as I buy physical copies.
Big Fish Games

Play First titles for $4.99 ( except the CE s)

Oh nuts... The THQ deal really is US only. I can't even purchase anything off it.

Darksiders uses Steamworks so I assume all you get is a Steam key that anyone can use. You can get someone from the US to buy it for you and e-mail you the key. Just make sure they don't click payment protection which is pointless.
EA store EU
Dead Space 50% off
would some kind person order this and gift it to me, I managed to get enough pennies to either refund you by paypal or gift you a $5.99 GOG or equivelent.

I was tempted to send them an email and have a moan about it but last time I did that (to BT) I got threatened with a lawsuit for slandering thier "good name".
