lackoo1111: The Spirit Engine 2 become freeware And these stores still selling it ?
that the Engine gecame freeware does not implicate the game content is freeware, too.
e.g. Like the Quake Engine source code is open source since years but all Quake textures, maps, sounds, music are still under copyright. So you need to build your own game content while you can use the the Engine for free.

Yes it is. Spirit Engine 2 is a game, not an engine. If you go to their site, there's about five mirror links to download the game for free. Further down the site it says if you wish to donate to the devs to can still buy the game from the following online merchants.

I am basically not into that kind of game style, so did not care to research any further. Since I saw the engine withoug content scenario more often.

But now I am inclined to give it a try. So, thanks ;)

On the top right of the page, there's a country selector. Select UK. Now try again.

Alternatively, try this link: http://www.direct2drive.co.uk/495/3710/product/Buy-Vampire:-The-Masquerade-Bloodlines-Download/?no-redir=1

(Memo to self: when posting D2D links, add /?no-redir=1 to prevent confusion.)

I have a US account. Switching regions logs me out... I managed to log into the UK store, but I don't want to risk getting my PayPal account flagged.

Really nice game!!! Recommended. It´s old but the Lovecraft ambient is really spot on, and faithful to the his works.
I bought it on Steam during the holidays for $7.50
those who like Penumbra etc. should give it a try.
Impulse: Helldorado (which is basically Desperados 3) is $2.49
Green Man Gaming: Crusader Kings is $4.49
