Mamutte: Games of Strategy First in promo http://strategyfirst.com/products/category/21-on-sale.html

Navagon: I wouldn't trust Strategy First if I were you. Very, very dodgy company.
Uhmm... it's good to know. Thanks for the info.

Dragobr: Dead Space is 66% off on Steam. Probably the weekend deal.

It's cheaper in NA, though.

EDIT: It's the WD. Also, you get 75% off if you pre-order Dead Space 2, which costs $60.

bansama: No weekend deal for me then as EA/Valve still refuse to sell those here. Guess that confirms my suspicions that NFS: HP and DA2 being offered in my region are mistakes. Oh well, I'll just buy Dead Space 2 from GamersGate then....
How odd. It's actually GamersGate who won't sell them here.

I guess I'll just not buy Dead Space now. I'd rather get a new pc first, anyway.

I'm not just talking about all the developers they haven't paid. People buying direct from them have been ripped off too. It's just not worth it.

You're not trying to buy from the US site are you? You need to buy the UK versions from the .co.uk site. It's those versions that are sold worldwide (and you can't buy them from the .com site).

That's good to know. Are there any side effects for buying from both GamersGate pages, or is the currency the only difference?

And i thinking it's a reliable company. Is important to pass this information.
So, since King Arthur is cheap this week at GG, has anyone played it?

Jim at RPS seemed to like it, but mentioned a lot of irritating flaws with combat that put me off. I'm wondering if those issues have been addressed by now.

Currency is the only difference. So for non-EA games, you can compare the prices and buy from whichever site sells at the lower price. And with the most new EA games, the GBP prices have actually been cheaper than the US prices, so only being able to buy those from the UK site is a good thing =)

Their UK prices are lower than their EU prices, for nearly all games. Also, games cost less Blue Coins if you get them from the UK site. At least, that's my observation.

I have. What Jim did not like about it was the Strategic Locations in combat - capture all of them and you win the battle - and overpowered archers.

With the overpowered archers, that is a common problem in Neocore games, I beat Kings Crusade in no small part because of my archers. You can, however, weaken them through the menu in King Arthur.

As for the victory locations, I do not really have a problem with them. I never really use them. Typically, being the strategy game turtle that I am, I will capture the most defendable of the locations my army can get to and park there, let the enemy capture the rest and advance on me. I do not really see them as a detriment, since they are normally strategically useful locations in any case.

At the price it is on GG, get it. It's the battles from Total War with some nice RPG-lite elements and medieval fantasy stuff thrown in.

48 hour madness on GoGamer. US only. Some stuff is 90 cents including Dawn of War GOTY, EndWar, and Necrovision. Other stuff includes Dirt 2 ($8), DC Universe Online ($40), and Two Worlds II ($30).

I've disposed of two Sim City 4 Deluxe serials for cheap...there are now 3 serials left for exchange if anyone wants to do a swap.

For that price it's an absolute steal.

There's now an option in the menu to reduce the power of archers. I recommend you use it. There's also an Easy option I recommend you use too. :P

Other than that the only tough ones are the ghosts. Unfortunate that I found out too late that the sunlight spell is needed to bring them down to your level. That's probably the biggest problem with the game. It introduces things slowly but you have to be paying attention each turn to what it's introducing.

What proxy or any methods to buy games on GoGamer outside US?
