No, that's not it. Once you click "Install Game", it won't be removed from your account. The 24 hours is the limit you have till you can claim it permanently for free.

That's fine, you don't need to install it right away. As long as you click "Install Game" and you make sure that it has indeed been added to your account, it's there to stay.
