I claimed the free 'campfire' asset pack: in the Humble library, it shows up with a big green link saying 'To utilize and open these assets and project files, you must download CRYENGINE. Click here to download the client.'

I clicked, and was taken to https://www.cryengine.com/

... which currently says nothing but So in a little while we should find out about this 'client' business. Edit: okay, there's something more interesting up there now. No apparent clarification on the 'client' point, though, and to download anything you have to register.

Yeah, because Build a Greenlight Bundle was too mainstream.

Really don't understand this one. Demo's are supposed to be free to sell someone on the game, right? That's the way I've always understood it.

I'm certainly not approaching that thing with a 3 meter pole, but one might notice that purchases are averaging less than $1.00 per, so it's not like people are getting straight-out conned.
