ErekoseDM: Who tells you you're cheap? Yacht Club, Humble, (gog maybe?), or the rabid steam lunatics on the steam forums.
Link mayhaps
budejovice: Pretty sure GOG would be the last group of people on earth to call me cheap. :) Email from Yacht Club. It was implied, not stated outright. Their old line about how they don't think they should put their game on sale because it devalues it and people should pay what they (Yacht Club) think it's worth. The implications are that only people on GOG should be asked to pay what the devs think it is worth. Also: "I hope in the future, you'll choose to play our games based on their quality, not on their price." Assholes. :)
Didn't want to be biased and keep gog off the list of possibilities unlikely as it may be :p
Were gog to call me cheap I'd be like "you're right! ^_^ *high five* "
I agree with you if it goes on a deeper sale elsewhere that's my new buy price at minimum. If I have to wait it out even longer I'd want it even cheaper than the "global" market low, something like the gog bundles of random with X% off for titles you own already.
Saw they did a decent job with the physical ps4 version recently with an actual manual I think it had artwork too, but all that junk shouldn't effect digital and iirc it was only $5 more than their perceived value of themselves here.
Was somewhat on the fence and saw your post. Not a fan of the company name, and your experience seems to have nailed my suspicions.
Was hoping it was an ironic name about some twats in a Yacht club. :(
