Steam version is actually DRM-Free! You can copy the install folder to a computer which has never had Steam installed on it and it will run.

You have to join some Steam groups and follow some Twitter feeds, but you can quickly unjoin and unfollow those right afterwards. This doesn't require a Facebook account either, you just need to visit the links to view the pages and then it counts.

I've had The Deer God and its pixelart beautifulness on my wishlist for a while, was hoping for the PC version to be bundled or steeply discounted (it might still be sometime soon), but this is even better.
