Spinorial: After months of saving up for when the new Homeworld goes on sale... I'm considering throwing it all away for Endless Space. Anyone care to dissuade me? Reassure me? Ridicule me?
I'm not much into space strategy games or 4x stuff so i can't compare to any tittles but i have Endless Space on my steam account and having 10 hours of playing it is not the game is bad just kinda little too complex to me (just played it at easy mode). I also buy it at 80% discount when last steam winter sale if you're into 4x games ES worth to try.

Endless Space is OK, I prefer Sins of a Solar Empire over it though. I'd keep saving for Homeworld.

A most curious timed promo, then. http://www.rekcahdam.com/2012/11/celestial-mechanica-free-soundtrack-1.html says 'If you really like the game or you think I'm awesome you can still support me by buying it on gamersgate/playism/desura' - though it seems to have gone free on Desura since 2014's http://www.desura.com/games/celestial-mechanica#4382260 - and I suppose that's why it still has a default non-free price on Playism.

Gift copy from ROW game is region lock now?? just activate FSP and I've got warning note that gift is restricted only redeemable in certain countries :\

Yep. Recent change on Steam if I'm correct.

The locking happens when activating the key/gift.

Yep, same here. Though this might just be a bug as the description doesn't show in which countries this gift can be redeemed.
