At least I can play it with my German account _while_ I am in Japan. I can lend it from my German family member to my japanese ones, while I am in Germany, though but not while I am in Japan.

ThePunishedSnake: Yes, because restriction are toward some regions, like Eastern Europe and Asia one.
US keys can be redeemed on EU account, I'm not sure about other countries.
Japanase companies are very aggressive with region locked games.
MGR is locked out of Japan for the same reason Wolfenstein is locked out of Germany. There are plenty enough crazy cyber-ninjas running around Japan mincing cars with swords. They don't need video games encouraging kids to add to the problem.

Aye - compare it to GMG yesterday (another UK company) where one offer was Dishonored base game £2 (or $4 US I believe) - made about 65p / $1 saving on the US price - before additional discounts

GMG has awful price. Metal Gear Rising is 30 euro full price, because they adopted the 1:1 conversion, while the official EU price is 20€.

My comment about GMG was the fact as a UK company, and as I'm a UK citizen I dont get shafted with prices like that - and yet I do at bundlestars.
