Is anyone familiar with the Tier 2 games here? I plan on getting Tier 1 for To The Moon but was wondering if any of the Tier 2 games are worth the jump. Not familiar with any of them. Saturday Morning RPG looks interesting but I am worried I will miss all of the references in it.

Out of the 2nd tier, Vanguard Princess and Ku: Shroud of Morrigan are terrible. Saturday Morning RPG is good, and Major Mayhem is ok, but nothing special. Haven't played the others, but Unearthed has very poor reception. Oknytt and Skyward Collapse might be decent.

Thanks for the reply Spoderman. Really helped me out. I will probably wait until the last game is revealed but the way things are now I might just stick with the first tier unless it turns out being something I really want..

If you're going to get To The Moon, add 1 euro to the price tag, so you can get yourself a box of tissues. ;)

I didn't think Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan was terrible, but I wouldn't suggest paying $4.99 for that game alone. It's flawed but original, so whether you'll like it depends on what you're looking for in a game; personally I found it entertaining, although it's not a great game. You'll find a more detailed opinion here. Major Mayhem on the other hand is flawless but boring. Oknytt could be of interest if you're into (indie) point-and-click adventures and mythology. It's charming, but more for fans than a must-play.
