Psyringe:
I wasn't impressed with the first game which was my only hesitation to buy it even at this price. But even if it doesn't give me that "one more turn" feeling, its too good a price to pass up. Looking forward to trying it out. Glad I was online when DarkoD13 posted.

Marci87: nice bought 3 just in case one of my friends want's it tomorrow and they correct the pricing ;)
Want *_* Please? Assuming your friends don't want one of them? I'll trade you any $5.99 GOG game for that.
(still kicking myself for not being around!)

EDIT: Wait... something is not right. That URL starts with smile.amazon.com. I did a Google search for the URL, and came up empty. Maybe it's just as well that I missed it, 'cause I was so excited when I saw it that I didn't even notice.

That address is legit, see here. The fact that it ends with ".amazon.com" tells you that it's really one of Amazon's servers. The domain owner can put anything they want at the beginning of the URL - usually it's "www", but that's just a convention. But nobody except Amazon themselves can have a URL that ends with ".amazon.com"

It probably won't change your mind then, it's very similar to the first game. So much so, in fact, that some people think it should have been a DLC to the first game rather than the sequel. Personally I like the additions they made, though. And there's an editor for creating mods, so we'll see a lot of additional content being created.

I'm no expert at this stuff, and my techie brother would be appalled if I didn't question things that look weird ;) Thanks so much!

... Now I have to hope that I can somehow get my hands on one of those extra copies *laugh* Oh well, it won't kill me to wait 'til it comes down in price in a year or two ;)

I've been using that subdomain exclusively for Amazon purchases since it debuted, precisely because of the charity aspect. It's nice that my conspicuous consumption can contribute to something good, however slightly. :)
World of Warcraft is on sale at the EU Blizzard store until May 6th.

World of Warcraft costs €7.5 and includes the original game and the first three expansions. It's a great deal for those of you who don't have World of Warcraft because you also get one month of game time for free.

Mists of Pandaria costs €10 which is also a nice deal if that's the only expansion that you are missing.

It's a great deal overall, and definitely worth it if you are interested, because Blizzard sales are usually few and far between.

Jeets2: Holy! Is that a mistake? The game just came out did it not?

DarkoD13: Yep, probably a pricing error.
costs 49,90usd now... well, it being amazon they wouldnt probably have sold it outside US anyways, so suppose i didnt lose anything.
Death to Spies Gold is 75% off on GG, $5, DRM Free - the only version of DRM Free, IIRC, but maybe not.

Yes, that's the standard Amazon policy concerning digital purchases. You only need a US address.
You can get one for free here:

They make money by shipping to you physical objects from sites that would normally only ship to the US. They act like an intermediary, I guess. I haven't used that kind of services from them though, just the free address.
Steam have an Activision sale (http://store.steampowered.com/sale/acti_pub1) until May 5th, and part of this is the Space Quest Collection (http://store.steampowered.com/app/10110/) and Kings Quest Collection (http://store.steampowered.com/app/10100/) for £4.99 ($9.99) each.

They also have a few Star Wars games on sale for 66% off. I just tried to buy KOTOR and - BAM! - Steam servers are down. I love it when that happens! :D
