blotunga: That would be an idea also. But I remember playing TR2 and being frustrated by the controls. I wonder how they've aged. Especially since my reflexes I think are even worse then they were back then :)
I always disliked the early Tomb Raiders for their clumsy controls, but I've been playing TR1 lately, and it's not really that bad (with my gamepad, at least). It's finicky and a little slow, but since it has fairly strict rules for how movement works, it's mostly just a matter of getting used to it. Of course, I also have more patience for that sort of thing than I did as a kid.
The camera can be annoying at times, but I've played worse. In fact, I'm trying to play the PC version of Sands of Time with a gamepad, and THAT is worse.
