blotunga: Never pay more for an acquisition then you have to. I'm not willing to pay for a game more then it was at some point. I have too many unplayed games anyway.
I'm with you there. I'd also like to add TR to my collection but I'm in no hurry to do so. I can easily wait another year or more. Since I don't have any TR, and have never played them, I'd like to get all of them. Complete packs have been sold for not much more:

S and GG had 10 games for $14 and $17.50 respectively. GMG had $12, but didn't include the latest one. I missed the deals. : (
Sword of the Stars: The Pit GOLD $1.74

Curse you Amazon. Curse you.
(because I bought it on the GOG special a few days ago)

That would be an idea also. But I remember playing TR2 and being frustrated by the controls. I wonder how they've aged. Especially since my reflexes I think are even worse then they were back then :)
You can grab DLC Quest (DRM Free + Steam) for $0.75 at the Humble Store.
Come on Gamersgate, put again Castle of Illusion 50% off :(

yeah and XCOM: EW!

SALE a recommendation

it's only a 20% sale for $8 but you should keep this game on your radar if you are in
into trippy games like Sword & Sworcery, Kentucky Route Zero or Stanley Parabel. Though this is far more action heavy than those.
This is a iOS/ PC crossover, a little bit rough around the edges but the devs is still putting work into it.
I have both version and am swayed slightly towards the iOS version. Anyway only few games grabbed my attention like this since quite some time.

I always disliked the early Tomb Raiders for their clumsy controls, but I've been playing TR1 lately, and it's not really that bad (with my gamepad, at least). It's finicky and a little slow, but since it has fairly strict rules for how movement works, it's mostly just a matter of getting used to it. Of course, I also have more patience for that sort of thing than I did as a kid.

The camera can be annoying at times, but I've played worse. In fact, I'm trying to play the PC version of Sands of Time with a gamepad, and THAT is worse.

mefet: If the call of duty games worked on pc...
But it says mac only.

ne_zavarj: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a SteamPlay title . Black Ops isn't .
Well, I bought it, and it wasn't redeemable on steam.
They only provide a download link for the game and the key, so take that into account with game.co.uk in the future, as it was clearly indicated it was steam.
Sorry if this was already posted: half life 2 at 2.49$ on greenmangaming.

Helldorado (also 75% off, $2.50) is the same series? Why isn't that one on GOG?

Yes, it's the sequel to Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge. As for why it's not on GOG - I have no idea.
You can vote for it on the wishlist here, if you'd like.

I'll have to play Desperados and the sequel first, so I know if I want to vote for it. ;) Bought them on TinyE's rec a while back, but I got caught up playing a couple of turn-based games, so I don't know if I'll like 'em yet. Cheers though, for the heads-up. =)
