robb5: Well I didn't wanted to start a "war" XD
We're not in a war. ;) I simply think that you may be a bit inexperienced with regard to key resellers, and personally I wouldn't recommend buying from a shop that uses such methods as you describe. I want to be sure that I get a legit product, I don't want to have to worry that my key suddenly gets deactivated after a while for reasons that I can't even find out.

I looked a bit around in that shop that you recommend so heartily, and found that:
http://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/products/Battlefield-3-CD-Key-for-Origin-%252d-Scan.html

Especially interesting are passages like these:

Battlefield 3 RU Scan CD Key for Origin:

This version of battlefield 3 will also function in any language, but requires a language fix. They are region free and will enable you to install the game in English without problems.

After you have downloaded and installed Battlefield 3 RU version, you will need to select the language that you want to play the game in. You can do this by editing the registry, but to save time and to make it more user friendly for our customers, CJS CD Keys has developed a custom Battlefield 3 Language Changer for your convenience.
TOTALLY trustworthy shop, yep. Also interesting:

If you buy a RU key and activate it then we CANNOT give a refund on it, in ANY case, as the key can only be used once, so please be sure that you are willing to complete the language pack download before buying.
So, let me get this straight. There is a shop that personally admitted to you that they scratch keys from boxes for resale, that offers Russian versions of a game worldwide with a selfmade registry hack to circumvent Origin's regionalization, that offers products with a "no refund" policy ... and you think this shop is trustworthy enough to recommend it to other users here, because the couple of keys you ordered there happened to work.

Really? ;)
Stupid good deal on RPG Maker VX Ace. $29.99 (US only)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D8HZU3E/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00D8HZU3E&linkCode=as2&tag=legeofleef-20

(ref link included)
Steam or Amazon

Steam also has it on sale, but not as good a deal if you're in (or "in") the US.

That is not really a hack because it only changes the language, so it is more like a mod + the RU keys are region blocked and that is why it is not refundable because someone can buy it without realising the it is region blocked and they don't want to lose money (selfish). I always check the games before I buy to see if they are not region blocked. But there is always a risk with resellers like anyone said, so don't take my word for good. I will get BF4+ Premium from them later next week and I will come back when the game releases on 1 st november and give you some feedback.
The only reason why I "recommend so heartily" is because I never had any problems but this doesn't mean you or anyone else can't have any problems.

MoP: Cheers, hope You'll enjoy it if You end up taking the plunge. Apart from keeveek's recommendation right after mine, Azilut posted some quite glowing and informative (yet spoiler-free) impressions from his recent playthrough of the game ( and [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/hp_lovecraft_based_lovecraftian_horror_inspired_games/post83]here), so it's not just me being weird or nostalgic (for once ;)
Thanks again, I will be getting it, and I suspect I will enjoy it. I adore Lovecraftian stuff when done right.

Please consider asking the publishers and (even more important) the developers what they think about that. Also, even if you label that thing as a "mod" - it doesn't make you the least bit suspicious that this shop is selling games that require a shop-made "mod" to make them work in your language?

That's odd because the site itself states: "They are region free." Of course, you have to apply that tiny helper program to actually play them in your language ... something I'm sure the publishers and developers happily support ...

It's not about problems with activation - while you may never have a single issue with these keys, buying them from this seller is about (legally) the same as just downloading games from piratebay for free. I'm not encouraging you to do so, but i were you i would just avoid such stores in future. Again, i'm not telling you that you have to listen to me, i'm just recommending what i would do in such case :) Good luck !

The conclusion is: All resellers are shady. Especially the ones that don't give refunds.

Hangeki is free on Desura right now. I'm not familiar with it, but I think it's normally a paid release and it costs £2.99.

Yep, once again it's Desura Freedom Friday.

Besides Hangeki, they are giving away MTBFreeride, Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate, and CLR: cannons lasers rockets.

Snap 'em up folks!

EDIT: You can also get a free copy of <span class="bold">Irritum</span> by following the instructions. I was just checking the game out the other day and was interested, so it's nice that they are doing a giveaway. Downloading my copy now.

I honestly can't imagine myself ever playing any of them. Anything in here that I should check out? Seems I'd just be better playing my backlog (large backlog).

Zombies is painfully funny if you've ever worked in an office, and pretty fun to boot. You can play all the way through in one sitting as well, so it's doesn't become a half-finished game staring at you for the rest of your life.
