dyscode: Just for the grain of salt, I was thoroughly disappointed by Cognition. It's such a clichèd (the bad way) bolted patchwork of worn out, overused popularized themes as I have rarely seen in recent Adventures. It's like a 16 years old's imagination of what 'mature' means. If Gabriel Knight (series) is the bright center of the galaxy, this game is the one most far away from it. I am really OK with the strange cell-shader engine and unnatural, often reused animation-scritping, I totally can live with that and at the interface is neat -but the rest... If I had paid more than $1 on IGS for each episode, I truly would feel ripped off.
Which is actually sad because there are _some_ technically clever puzzles inside there and the game does not deliver conclusions you automatically, _you_ need to put them together.

spoderman: I think that's the lowest price it's been. Pretty good co-op game and well worth the price. For anyone interested I'd grab it now rather than later and play through it with a friend, since you've got nearly a year before GFWL goes offline.

luckydoky: Well being a big Gabriel Knight fan myself I did enjoy Cognition (ep 1 & 2 haven't played 3rd yet). I think ep 1. was better then its sequel but it's probably due to the episodic nature of the game, alot of reused assets can get a little boring. Even though I didn't like the main character all that much I enjoyed the game atmosphere alot and found the cell-shader engine pretty neat. Obviously I won't remember Cognition in a couple of years whereas I'll probably remember Gabirel Knight all my life but it's probably because I'm not 14 anymore. Games don't impact me as much as they did back then anymore.. Anw I hade a good time with it and it's not too long (something I also enjoy nowadays).
Plus the bundle includes the cat leady as well which is great (and the soundtrack is a mast have as well).

011284mm: Personally I will wait for GFWL to die the much deserved death and Capcom to realise 'Oh we also could sell more of our games on GOG and make some money'

dyscode: mmmh, would be nice but being the jerks that Capcom are and the recent move of Valve's Jason Holtman to M$ makes it more probable that GWFL is assimilated into Steam. ;)
