Tarnicus: Google "play-asia fraud" and there is much evidence to the contrary. Codes not received. Codes not working. Physical products not working. Ridiculous shipping delays. Horrible customer service.
I'm sure they would have to do some legitimate business given how large their customer base is but I will certainly never use them again.
16 hours and no code or response from customer service. I wasn't aware that to dispute a charge on my card requires a lot of paperwork and up to 6 months to process, so I'll chalk this one up to a lesson learned and hope that I get a code or a refund. Caveat empor!
Edit: Customer service just responded with the following -
"Dear Blake,
Sorry for the late reply. Please note that we do not work 24 hours and we answer on a first come first serve basis.
Moving on to your concern, we are sorry to inform you that the code for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (Code Only) (PC CD-ROM Europe) was not in stock by the time you made the order. We now have to wait for the arrival of re-stocks before we can finally send the code to your email. We kindly ask for your patience in the meantime.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Best regards,
Cristyl
Play-Asia.com"
I've asked them how long I can expect to wait for a code and how to initiate a refund process.
Seriously? I guess you need to learn some patience. Only because there are sites out there where you get your game code within a minute, doesn't mean that it has to be everywhere like that. Even more when they ran out of stock, which can happen every other shop out there too, causing that exact same delay for the shops you noted as having codes immediately. And a response from Customer Support within 16h is really good imho. You better not wanna deal with GamersGate then for example: good CS, but it takes up to a week to get things resolved!
Sorry, but just because you didn't get your key after a few hours and got a response from support ONLY within a time frame of one day call them a fraud website seems to be way over the top.
