pen_sq: Didn't Doublefine do a Sesame Street game at one point?
Yeah. Kinect-only. For 360.
avatar
Giltonnam: Most likely Iron Brigade (only Double Fine game on steam that's not in the bundle).
avatar
pen_sq: GFWL has its tendrils too deep in Trenches, and MS has too high an ownership in it to ever fix that. I think The Cave is a bit young to throw in, even though it's hit $5.

Brutal Legend was officially released a few days before The Cave and it's already in this bundle. So it might show up in here. Who knows.

The funny thing is they've blocked referral credit usage for the bundle, so if anyone buys through the link you posted.. I don't think you can use that credit on any game bundles they come out with. Or at least they don't let me use credit for the bundle on my account..

Anyway, it is pretty weak. The site keeps DRM-free downloads for a limited period of time (they won't be there permanently), and the 2 Steam games have been bundled before.

Nuuvem have got XCOM for US$12.50, which is nearly as good as the price Gamersgate had it for (briefly) the other day.

Postal 3 is US$7.49 at GG today (and 33% higher on their UK site :P). Edit: but perhaps don't buy, as according to wormholewizards:

wormholewizards: Thinking of buying Postal 3 75% off, Gamers Gate since it rarely goes on sale. Luckily i did bit of reading and apparently it was outsourced and RWS seem to distance themselves from the game.

Transport Giant

Industry Giant 2

http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-IG2/industry-giant-2-gold-edition-2012

Traffic Giant

http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TRAG/traffic-giant-gold-edition-2012

Are all $2.49 each on Gamersgate

They're good if you like those sorts of games. If you do get them make sure you create a save folder in the game directory because the installer doesn't and will crash when you try to save otherwise.

I already have the TransG (hurr). Are IG and TG any different?

PenguinJim: Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on Steam for US$12.90 (about £8.40 / 9.80e) at Play-Asia Download. Amazon had it for US$15, but this is the cheapest yet.

(It was my GOTY on 360 in 2011 and my GOTY on PC in 2012)
A notice, this deal is on again

Industry Giant 2 is kinda more of the same sort of thing but with more goods, more control on what's made and having to sell goods in town. If your in love with Transport Giant then it's worth a look.

Traffic Giant is planning the transport route through cities like Cities in Motion.

They are different and worth a look if they're the kind of managerial games your in to. Some youtube video's might explain things better than me. I've played so many of these types of games and get confused with what's what.

Gamersgate says that Industry Giant 2 contains '40 fascinating missions'. I have a CD with the same cover except the '2012 edition' label and that contains the add-on and says '20 missions' (which is correct, if I remember so). I also can't remember to have built 'universities, rodeos and stadiums'.

Are these games only in English or do they contain more languages?

I know - and the answer is never ever...

Brütal Legend was made "inhouse" and Double Fine holds the rights for the PC version. The Cave was a regular publisher game from SEGA. Iron Brigade was published by Microsoft, so a humble release is very unlikely - a humble release of the new The Cave is out of question...

Ha, the only game I want from this is The Tiny Bang Story, pity it's not in lower tier. :(

Thanks for mentioning this is up again - what a bargain! It is offset by a frustrating and convoluted ordering process. I've never purchased a game from a site before and had to wait for a Steam code.

"If you cannot see any download link or required license information above, please be patient. It may take a few minutes to update your order." 15 minutes and counting...

*taps feet impatiently*

Edit: I just read that orders are processed every few hours. It would have been nice to have been informed that beforehand. Seems strange given sites like Amazon, Gamersgate et al can give out Steam codes instantly. Ah the price one pays for bargain hunting :D
