wormholewizards: The Sims meet football (soccer), equal to Lords of Football

15% off for pre-purchase on Gamers Gate, alternatively you can pre-purchase directly from the official store but without any incentive.

The game itself probably a budget title, but i'm willing to bite and pre-order it just because my love on the sports. Been playing too much footie games since more than a decade ago. I want to try something fresh and more casual.

Edit: Just did a bit of research Gianluca Vialli, the Italian legend is the consultant for the publisher and endorse the game. Maybe it's just a marketing ploy, but can't say i'm not tempted.
Q&A with Gianluca Vialli very humble and down to earth.
In regards to Lords of Football, I am going to take the wait and see approach...I have 70+hours in FM2013...and I average 150+ hours on prior incarnations so I love the sport...but i have to see how the other aspects work out in this game. If the game turns out to get some good reviews, and i watch a few youtube videos on it and it catches my interest it will be an instabuy...but not until i see how it turns out=(

Seeing THQ featured again in a HB sale surprised me. But guess it might be the last time now that we see a THQ sale on these few remaining titles as the rights for them will be up for auction in a few days.

That's the most sensible and logical. But i'm afraid the reviews, or reception will be cold since the game is not a major title. Probably there won't be a lot of Youtube footage, professional and fair fans review because the lack of buzz. The total view accumulated from it's official Youtube channel since 13 May 2011 is a mere 130k. Personally, i never heard about this game before even though Vialli himself endorse it and it was in development back in 2011. I have to thanked Gamers Gate due to their practice which is always bring variety of genre into their catalogue (even if half of them are crap).

Maybe the fate will be similar with lots of niche, small title out there, we'll see.

ps: Still couldn't resist, it's Gianluca Vialli.

Those are all fantastic games. Unfortunately Darksiders 2 has a mountain of DLC which this sale does not seem to include. Among them, Death Rides, Argul's Tomb, Abyssal Forge, and Demon Lord Belial are all fun extra missions/ dungeons but not $40+ fun. While they're not necessary for the story, DS2 will be a smaller game*.

One second thought, Abyssal Forge and Demon Lord Belial were unstable for me before applying a fan patch. Maybe this is a good thing. :/

*Those DLC might add 10 hours for a normal player.

Snickersnack: Death Rides
Don't bother with this one. It sounds like actual content as opposed to weapons, but it's actually four sub-MMO fetch quests that add literally zero enjoyment to the game.

Kill flies until you gather 6 random drops. That's the kind of thing we're talking about. Ugh.

The other major DLCs are added as separate campaigns you can beat during or after the game, and are a somewhat better value.

Are you *sure*. I thought only retail copies could be activated on GOG after a certain deadline passed.

I want this, but not on Origin...
