Is Amazon lenient with what you do with game codes?

Through bundles I acquired multiple copies of games. Is it okay if I give away game codes to friends? Amazon/Steam won't so stern as to check and make sure all my codes go into one account, will they?

BTW: How long will the gog sale last?
