eny4lios: its 7,5 pund are you sure?
Look at the first link. If you filled out the survey, you get the code for £5. So yes, I'm sure. ME3 + discount + code = £2.5.

Gonchi: A lot of Adventure Games 50% off at GamersGate.

It's not discounted but anyone know what "Other DRM" Lost Horizon has?
avatar
dyscode: from Steam forums: "The disc version, EU, has ProtectDisc which installs a driver but seems to do nothing else than check that the disc is in without mucking up the system. There is no activation and no install limits. The driver can be uninstalled from "programs & features".
So the GG Version should only be a S/N check from what I can find on the nets.

If you are still on the edge ask here:

cheers :)
Thanks mate, I'll give it a go then.

StingingVelvet: Lost Horizon is a really good adventure game, for the record.
I got a Heart of China vibe from it, been trying to get an English physical copy for a while but haven’t had much luck.

dyscode: and for (im)mature experience 7 Sims, oh sorry, I mean 7 Sins is $3.75 on GameFly:

I have not played this game but I am really tempted! LOL.
I've played it. It's basically Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude meets Singles: Flirt Up Your Life, lots of mini-games, not very funny (or fun) and fairly clunky.

nijuu: Will this work for Aussies?

kjx: Do you see the game? Can you add to the cart? If yes, there shouldn't be any problems.

http://bundle-in-a-box.com/ is up!

It's Eclectic Delights bundle, which of course implies a lot of obscure, cool, weird genres. I rather like it, seems like a good mix of games and there aren't a ton of repeats from other bundles. I'm a sucker for horror games too, and there are a fair amount of them here.

Pay 99 cents for
Shadows of the Vatican: Act 1 (Desura)
Delve Deeper (including all the DLC) (Steam, Desura)
War of the Human Tanks (Desura)
Eversion (the HD version, not the freeware one) (Steam)
Fibrillation (Desura)

Then beat the average for
The Adventures of Shuggy (Steam, Desura)
Stay Dead (Desura)
The 4th Wall
Flibble

Then of course there are DRM-free versions for every game.

And I made a thread for it, because I'd love to talk about the games and don't want to clog up this thread. Probably should have done that in the first place.

I don't recommend it, the story, voice acting and diversity is hilariously bad. If you're into that sort of thing, by all means ;>. I would recommend Path of Exile instead.

EDIT.
For reference, an awful cutscene from the game: ending. This scene has forever been etched into my mind.

Harbinger is like Space Siege, only 6 or 7 years older, with similar or on par graphics, and better story and voice acting. I don't recommend Space Siege. I can deal with Chris Taylor's fascination with bad voice actors, but I couldn't even make it through this game and I've made it through every other game of his I've played with possible exception being Demigod (not sure if that was his or not)

Cheers senbon, yeah I have PoE thanks, I was curious about SS because I liked Dungeon Siege, thanks for the info, I think I'll pass on it.

Played it about an hour. Gameplay is so repetitive and the storyline so nonexistent (or plain awful) you see about all there is in that time. Definitely not recommended.

So I see it IS exactly like Dungeon Siege:)
I never liked Dungeon Siege. The game basically plays itself. You click once, watch all your enemies die, you use a potion from time to time and that's it.

Even spellcasting is automatic.

Quite boring.
