p_mamusz: Also of note is that machines current second hand value, which is the price of a used X360 console..
Brand Spanking new 360 is the same price as a second hand upgrade (meaning just upgrading the major components)....here in Zealand.

The most surprising games I have got to run to date on this dirty ol' rig:

Dragon Age on medium settings (runs fairly well)
Gears of War on medium settings (only five minutes in to test but didn't look too rough)
Blacklight Tango Down - Runs pretty smooth but so far have only tried at 800X600 with all eye candy off.

Asmo2: 9. Kingdoms of Amalur + both DLCs - $11.99 - 11/26
Finally a good deal on this.

racerboi101: - Viking Battle For Asgard (Steam)
This is a pretty easy romp of an ARPG if anyone is looking for one (yes, you could play it very drunk and do fine).

StingingVelvet: Sad to see no Dishonored deal on Amazon.
They will save this for a Black Friday Lightning Deal (one hour or until it sells out, which will be within 5 minutes). On the up side, you can usually pay 5 dollars more for the non-lightning version of the deal. It'll be 30 USD or less at least twice before Christmas, trust me.

Yeah, I won't have my gaming PC back until first week of January, so I have the entire Thanksgiving and Christmas sales to try and get it for cheaper. Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3 and Hitman Absolution too.

AC3 was a much, much better game, if you end up having to pick. That's IMO, of course. Dishonored was a boring, dull, flat disappointment. AC3 was a living, breathing out of body experience which managed to be gorgeous, fun, and engaging almost at all times.

The naval missions alone... it almost makes me want to play more ship combat games (I know they wouldn't resemble it at all).

Dishonored and AC3 are my top priorities, I should be able to afford both of those without much trouble. Adding Far Cry 3, Hitman and Risen 2 from earlier in the year will depend on sales. I doubt Far Cry 3 will go on sale since it releases in December, but if I can get some of the others cheap enough I can get FC3 for full price.

I'm not going to break the bank though, I have lots of stuff from this year left to play because of my year overseas.

Yeah, I have to find the best PC pre-order bonus for Far Cry 3, it looks fun, I hope it's half as good as it looks. Halo 4 will probably still come out on top, but it's no shame in getting your ass kicked by Halo 4 at this point, it'd be like losing to Mike Tyson in the 80s, everyone did, even if they were outstanding.

The sandbox-y nature of Far Cry 3 looks like it'll be some good times.
