carnival73: Vanguard Princess has apparently been localized for an English speaking audience and sitting pretty at $10 over at Gate: http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-VP/vanguard-princess
Shows up at $5 for me.

And bleh, SecuROM.
The Stalker series is 70-75% off on gamersgate.

They also now have a Stalker Complete for $12.00 although I am pretty sure if you buy the 3 individually (getting the CoP loyalty edition version) it is actually closer to $11 and some change.

Clear Sky is DRM free, the other two have some form of activation.

I'd have bought it in a heartbeat had it been DRM-free. Fools.
Groupees Build a Bundle 4 is out

You pick your favorites and skip the rest. You have to pick at least 2 games for each 0,75$ (so the minimum is 1,5$). When you pick more than 4 games the price for each game will be lower. Example: 4 games = 3$ (each 0,75$), 6 games = 4,15$ (each game ~0,69$). The Bundle includes 9 games.

Steller Impact (Steam)
Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood (Steam)
Qasir Al-Wasat: A Night in-Between (Desura)
Vitrum (Desura and DRMfree)
Men of War (Steam)
Fantasy Wars (Steam)
Zombies. - Groupees Limited Edition (Desura and DRMfree)
Velvet Assassin (Steam)
Orczz (DRMfree)

Also some of that games (like Orczz) are on Greenlight and when a game passes Greenlight you will get a steamkey.

I wanted to correct an error i posted about Amazon DRM free downloads. I incorrectly posted that each download was tied to the installer and would always require launching of installer and verifying with Amazon that you own the game. This is only true for some games like Avadon The Black Fortress, where your computer is tied to the installer. But many of the games, you can use the GamersGate backup trick and it works just fine. Many games are just a simple key activation so you can back them up and make a note of the key and its like buying a retail copy. Here is a list of games that i recently downloaded and are completely DRM free from Amazon:

1. Divinity 2
2. Cryostasis
3. Stronghold Collection
4. Fantasy Wars
5. Necrovision

Just remember to use the GamersGate backup trick. Also, Amazon has become my favorite download site because their servers are simply the fastest and best connection for me.

I'm not sure why this is necessary. I just tested quite a few of my downloads and they're all fine. I haven't done anything to them after they were downloaded.

Also for me, Amazon even downloads the key and puts it in an html file in the setup directory, so no copying needed.

Contact them, ask them why they opted for SecuROM. There was a case a couple of weeks ago where the developer simply didn't realize that he could put his games on GamersGate DRM-free, and opted for SecuROM because he perceived it as the "default option". They made the game DRM-free afterwards.

Might be worth a shot, and it's never a bad idea to let developers know that DRM costs them sales.
Stronghold 3 Gold for $7.50 on Greenman with the the 25% coupon.

Anyone know if this game is any good now? Heard it was a mess on release.

You might have a point there. I downloaded the Japanese version (it was freeware) some time ago. For $5, I'd have gladly supported the development and translation of this game. Adding DRM to a game that was initially freeware just seems absolutely silly. It does seem likely that this could have been a mistake of sorts.
Nuclear Dawn is 75% off, requires Steam to play though.

AFnord: That... looks creepy. Some of the characters look like they are in their lower teens, and are dressed in rather skimpy outfits.
I think the characters are really cute! I'm just happy for another fighting game for the PC.

Hmm, not much has changed from the Japanese build but definitely has been translated and runs much easier and better now.

Features only a story mode against A.I.. and VS mode which requires another play playing at the same computer.

I'm hoping they will update with a training mode.
